The Camera Gear I Use for Real Estate, Event, and Business Photography

One of the questions I occasionally receive is what camera equipment I use for my photography work. While there is no perfect camera setup for every photographer, I believe that understanding your equipment and using it confidently is often more important than constantly chasing the newest gear.

My current setup is relatively simple and has accompanied me through countless photography sessions, road trips, events, and real estate shoots.

Canon EOS 6D

The Canon EOS 6D is the camera body I use most often. Although newer models have entered the market since its release, I continue to appreciate its reliability, image quality, and full-frame sensor.

Whether I’m photographing a property, documenting an event, or capturing portraits, the camera consistently delivers results that meet my needs. It has become a trusted part of my workflow and has proven itself in a variety of environments and lighting conditions.

Canon EF 24–105mm f/4L IS USM Lens

If there is one lens that spends the most time attached to my camera, it is the Canon EF 24–105mm f/4L IS USM.

The focal range offers tremendous flexibility. On real estate assignments, I can capture wider views of rooms and architectural details. During events and business photography sessions, I can quickly adapt between environmental shots, portraits, and closer details without constantly changing lenses.

Its versatility makes it an excellent all-around lens for photographers who work in multiple genres.

Final Thoughts

Photography equipment is ultimately a means to an end. While I enjoy learning about cameras, lenses, and technology, my primary focus remains creating images that communicate, tell stories, and help people present themselves, their businesses, and their spaces in the best possible light.
